The room

Located at the heart of vibrant London Spitalfields, the office is ideally situated to receive patients from both the City and beyond. The room is set up specifically for talking therapy. It is currently being used by three friendly and easy-going psychoanalysts – Dorothea Schueler and Stephane Preteux, and Alex Ilias, an analyst who also has a regular slot. We have been using Lenta’s services for years now and have always been impressed with their level of service. The room comes already configured for both face-to-face work and analytic-couch sessions. Its exposed brick, soft lighting and quiet outlook make it a genuinely comfortable place to work, for you and your patient. Please note that a deposit will be asked towards the electronic pass.

Suited to

Talking therapies (except couple therapy) — CBT, counselling, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. The setup accommodates both seated, face-to-face work with individuals and use of the couch, so it suits a broad range of practice rather than just one modality. Please note that we will ask you to provide evidence of membership or affiliation with a professional body.

Reception and waiting

Patients can check in on the iPad at the staffed ground-floor reception, which automatically sends an email to let you know they have arrived. They can then wait comfortably in the reception area until you are ready to collect them. The waiting area is separate from the consulting room upstairs, ensuring privacy and that conversations in the room cannot be overheard from reception.
